Meet Maree
Founder of PUPS on SUPS
Maree’s 15 year career as a Property Manager came to an organic end as her dream to start a local Stand Up Paddle Boarding business became a reality. As a twelve year local resident of the Town of Bassendean and being so close to the Swan River it seemed like the most normal and natural thing to do!
After many years of travelling solo overseas, living in remote places and turning her hand to many areas of work she’s now committed to promoting the benefits of stand up paddle boarding to the local and wider community.
As a non-competitive paddler Maree’s focus has always been to encourage and support those wanting to try stand up paddle boarding for fun, fitness and mental well-being.
Maree’s passion for SUP compliments her love of nature, animals and a simple life. After starting SUP Tonic Australia, Maree thought it would be a great idea to combine her passion for stand up paddle boarding with people’s passion for their pets – and PUPS on SUPS was born!
When she’s not running classes, she’ll be off on a road trip somewhere exploring the south west with her paddle board and sharing her adventures with the paddling community.
She’s creative, hard-working and dedicated to growing a business that brings harmony to humans and nature!
